This is the Imagine version of my head. It was converted with a beta
copy of InterChange Plus since Pixel3D choked on it. I you want the
image map that goes with it, you will need the original archive with
the LightWave version. Here is the README that went with the original.
Have fun...
This is a LightWave model of my head that was scanned on a Cyberware
3D laser scanner. The model is comprised of a 195K polygon data set
and a 24bit map image (which has been jpeg compressed). When loading
the object into LightWave, a requester may pop up looking for the
image map. LightWave expects the image to be in Textures:mark.face
(if I remember correctly). If it cannot find it there, the requestor
will pop up. Just hit OK and point it to the proper location (make sure
to un-jpeg it). If for some reason you mess up the texture coordinates,
just use y-axis cylindrical mapping with auto-sizing. Let me know if you
do anything interesting with it. The files included are:
43642 mark.face.jpg The image file
195290 markhead LightWave object file
1686 markhead.readm This file
If you redistribute this object, please keep all these files together.
Have fun blasting me into little tiny pieces...I already have :-)
*NOTE* When using the default camera settings (zoom=2.4) I notice a lot of
perspective distortion. By moving the camera farther away and increasing
the zoom, it actually starts to look something like me.
